State Street
Have a break
from class? State Street is close to campus and has a variety of stores
to shop in. You can also take the red line down State Street with
your UPASS which makes it pretty convenient.

Carson Pirie Scott,
Old Navy, Wet Seal, and
Aldo are just a few stores
located on State.
Being so close to campus it's nice to take a break from class, walk
down the block and shop off your stress. Overwhelmed by
the prices on State Street? Check out

Filene's Basement
(TJ Maxx) for quality clothes for a decent price.
Forever 21 is
also on State and has really good deals for ladies that want to get a
nice new outfit.

Water
Tower Place
Located at 835 North Michigan Avenue the
Water Tower Place is an
8-story shopping center that houses a ton of places to spend some
money. No matter what your style is you will be sure to find something
in one of the 100 stores plus some specialty stores and
resturaunts. Basically
Water
Tower Place is the one-stop
destination for all your shopping needs when you are downtown.
Magnificant
Mile
If you are looking for the perfect place to window shop the Magnificant
Mile is it. In this area there are many stores to browse through,
try things on and it's located right on Michigan Avenue. When the
weather
is nice the area is filled with tons of fellow shoppers and gives you
something to do. Stores along the Magnificant mile include
H&M, Express, Express Men,
Borders, Virgin Mega, and
The
North
Face. So remember if you are in the mood to walk along
Michigan
Avenue check out the Magnificant Mile, its definitely something to see.

Odds & Ends
When you need a few things like CD's, groceries, applicances, or even a
shirt there are places like
Target,
Jewel, Bed Bath & Beyond, and
Best Buy
to do your
shopping. There is even a new Target located on Roosevelt and
Clark that is pretty close.

In terms of
Best Buy and
Bed
Bath & Beyond you might have to travel a bit - but not too
far.
Bed Bath & Beyond
for any fun
things for your dorm room, apartment or living area, is located right
on State and Grand. Take the red line to Grand and walk up the stairs
and you're there, or just head north on State.
For
Best Buy you'd have to
head up to the North Avenue and Clybourn
area right off the red line (North/Clybourn stop).
